Large scale transfers made yesterday
Along with the General Administration Department, large-scale transfers took place in the Home Department on Tuesday. These transfers were made in view of the rules of the Election Commission regarding the Lok Sabha elections, but the allocation of departments could also have happened before this. Without departmental allocation, the new government of Nitish Kumar formed with BJP on Tuesday has made Dr. Virendra Prasad Yadav, Special Secretary of Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department of 2004 batch, as Special Secretary of Cooperative Department. Agriculture Department of the same 2014 batch.
